Privacy Policy for Planexi AI

Planexi AI is a personal planning application for Android. This Privacy Policy explains how Planexi AI handles user information, including information processed for AI planning, advertising and purchases.

Information stored on your device

Planexi AI stores planner information locally on your device, including tasks, shopping items, expense entries, selected currency, schedules, reminder settings and app preferences.

Voice input

Planexi AI can use the speech-recognition service available on your Android device. Depending on your device and speech-recognition provider, audio or speech data may be processed by that provider under its own privacy terms.

AI planning

AI planning is optional and runs only when you request it. To create an AI-generated plan, Planexi AI may send relevant planner context to the Planexi AI backend, including:

• open task titles, due dates, optional task times and recurrence settings;
• open shopping items;
• expense descriptions and amounts included in the planning context;
• selected currency;
• device/app language and current date/time information; and
• an anonymous app-generated client identifier used for request limiting, entitlement handling and abuse prevention.

The Planexi AI backend sends relevant planning context to OpenAI to generate the requested plan. The OpenAI API key is stored on the backend and is not stored in the Android app.

Please do not place highly sensitive personal information in task, shopping or expense text that you do not want processed when using AI planning.

Advertising and consent

The free version of Planexi AI may display advertising using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Planexi AI also uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent where required.

Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect or receive information such as:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location;
• app interactions, such as app launches, taps and ad interactions;
• diagnostic and performance information; and
• device or other identifiers used for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security and related purposes.

Advertising and consent information is processed by Google under Google's applicable privacy terms. Where consent choices are available, users may be shown a privacy message before personalized advertising is used. Planexi Pro users are not shown the in-app banner advertising used by the free version.

Purchases and Planexi Pro

Planexi AI uses Google Play Billing for Planexi Pro purchases. Planexi AI does not receive your payment card number or other full payment credentials.

Purchase status and a Google Play purchase token may be processed to verify or maintain Pro entitlement. An app-generated client identifier and Pro entitlement status may be stored by the Planexi AI backend so the app can remember access to Pro features.

Data sharing and service providers

Planexi AI uses service providers to operate specific features. Depending on the feature you use, information may be processed by:

• OpenAI, to generate AI plans from the planner context you choose to send;
• the hosting/backend provider used to operate the Planexi AI backend;
• Google, including Google Mobile Ads, UMP and Google Play Billing; and
• the speech-recognition provider configured on your Android device when voice input is used.

Data retention and deletion

Planexi AI does not intentionally store your task, shopping or expense content in its own application database on the backend. Relevant planner context is transmitted for AI processing when you request an AI plan. Service providers may maintain security, abuse-prevention, billing or operational logs according to their own retention practices.

The backend may retain an anonymous app-generated client identifier, request counters and Pro entitlement status for rate limiting, access control and abuse prevention.

You can delete planner content from within the app. Because the current app does not provide user accounts, there is no server-side user account to delete. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored app data from the device, subject to Android backup/restore settings.

Security

Planexi AI uses HTTPS when communicating with its backend. Reasonable measures are used to protect information in transit, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Planexi AI is a general productivity application and is not specifically directed to children.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated when Planexi AI features, service providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will remain available at this URL.
